Detailed 攻略Walkthrough

As 你you travel through 瓦兰纳里林地Varann Woodland, 你you'll find an outpost of Mercian 士兵soldiers who are at their wits' 耐力end. Speak to 百夫长希亚蒂斯Centurion Hyartis and 你you'll 学习learn that their commander marched east, possibly in rebellion, and they have been left behind to defend against 常见frequent 瓦兰纳里Varannari raids on their outpost. If you have PER 2, you get additional dialogue from him that opens up more quest ending options.

The 下一步next step will be getting into the 长者之森Elder Forest. If you are very hostile to the Varannari, they will attack you on sight and you'll have to fight your way in (and out). More preferable is to have a Reputation +10 with the Varannari so you can enter the forest as a guest, or better still, +25 with them, in order to maximize quest outcome options (and rewards).

Getting to 25 Rep with the 瓦兰纳里Varannari 是is possible through the following 任务quests and actions, prior to undertaking this 任务quest:

我是世界上最好的猎人……I Am the Best Hunter in the World... (+3)
Offer 鲁恩Ruun a 狼wolf pelt as a token of friendship (+2)
The Price of Freedom (+9)
Prisoner of Orcs (+4)
If 你you argue with 执政官西莱娜Praetor Silena in 祖父塔北贾巴尔丘陵Jabal about the merits of slavery (+5, makes 自由的代价The Price of Freedom un-completeable)
Human Resources (+8)
The Sacred Weapons (+3)

Those total +29, meaning 你you can miss any one 其他other than 人力资源Human Resources (including missing 自由的代价The Price of Freedom entirely via arguing with 执政官西莱娜Praetor Silena) and still get access to 全部all 任务quest outcomes. The main 声望reputation-boosters, obviously, are 自由的代价The Price of Freedom and 人力资源Human Resources, both requiring an ethical choice.
