Path

Tol

Detailed 攻略Walkthrough

To start the 任务quest, in 克莱尤墓Kleyou Tomb, go through the north 门door, then the east 门door; there 是is a 暗门secret door in the middle of the east 墙壁wall, 下一步next to a 石棺Sarcophagus. Reading the book will give you some information on Tol and start the quest.

The 下一步next step 是is to speak to 巴雷德主教Bishop Bareid in 智慧大厅The Hall of Wisdom. The required 声望reputation of 20 需要needed with 伊尔马拉Ilmara can be earned through completing these 任务quests, in rough order of 难度difficulty:

This 是is a total of +20 if done perfectly and completely. Of those, 受诅咒的修道院The Cursed Abbey 是is much harder than the rest, and so if 你you're trying to do this 任务quest before that one, or otherwise miss some rep, additional 伊尔马拉Ilmara 声望reputation can be gained from 市政厅任务town hall quests, in any of 福加斯Fogas, 罗伊尼斯Rhöneis, or 尼瓦兰Nivarian. (市政厅任务Town Hall quests in 尼瓦兰Nivarian count for +2 声望reputation with 伊尔马拉Ilmara, while in the 其他other towns they only count for +1 each.) 你You will also need a 声望reputation of 15 with 三神The Three, which can be gained through the 任务quests given at Shrines of 三神the Three.

Inside the Hall of Wisdom, speak with Bishop Bareid in the room to the West to learn about the location of Tol's Crown. 它位于It is located in the 被遗忘的庙宇Forgotten Temple, which 是is in 东伊诺里Eastern Inori but can only be accessed through 队长多尔斯Captain Dorse, which will 拾取take 1 hour and 花费cost 150 金币gold. Bring 火焰Fire 抗性resistance and 死亡Death 抗性resistance 护甲armor, along with a 闪电Shock, 寒冷Cold, or 精神Spirit 伤害damage 武器weapon. 诛鬼Ghostbane 是is a good 武器weapon for 战士Warriors and 牧师Clerics.

The entrance to the 被遗忘的庙宇Forgotten Temple 是is guarded by a 蝎尾狮幼崽Manticore Whelp. Be sure to save before entering the temple!

The first part of the Temple gives you four free Sarcophagi. The next part is a large room with a shrine in the middle. Interacting with the 神社shrine will spawn about fifty weak 亡灵undead 敌人enemies (骷髅skeleton, 骷髅弓箭手Skeletal Archer, 骷髅咒术师Skeletal Evoker), some of which will spawn in the rooms with the 石棺Sarcophagi. This is a useful amount of easy xp if you're high level, but also very dangerous, as 20+ archers and evokers will attack you at once. After completing the trap, you should go outside the temple and quicksave, or you'll have to go through the skeleton trap again if you die.

A lever to the west will activate a bridge to the next part of the temple. The 耐力end of the bridge will have two skeletal archers and a 堕落英雄Fallen Hero. The next rooms will have more weak undead enemies, which shouldn't be too hard to kill.

The first room after the bridge has a secret door in the north-west corner. You will have to go through the death smoke to open it, so equip your death resistance armor. The end of the corridor will have a gravestone. Passing an 智力Intellect 3 and 4 check will give 你you some 经验XP, and 你you must pass at least the 智力Intellect 3 check if 你you want to complete the 任务quest in favor of 托尔Tol.

Two rooms farther west, there is another secret door on the north wall. You must again go through some death smoke and face two skeletal evokers on the other side. There is a lever in this room which must be flipped to advance the quest.

Back in the middle room, there is some death fog on the South side. Go through this and the 门door and kill the Skeletal Champions on the 其他other side. Next, go west and then south again. This 房间room has multiple Fallen Heroes and Skeletal Champions. There are two doors here, one West and one East. The 门door to the West leads to the 托尔大祭司High Priest of Tol; a named 巫妖Lich that does 死亡death 伤害damage and some 火焰fire 伤害damage. The High Priest is susceptible to shock, spirit, or cold damage.

Make sure you heal yourself after defeating the High Priest. The 大祭司High Priest 掉落drops the 破碎的托尔王冠Broken Crown of Tol and picking it up will deal 12 死亡death 伤害damage every 3 秒seconds: with the Crown in your 物品栏inventory, while wearing it, while your 随从companion wears it, in the 次元袋Bag of Holding, in your 仓库Vault, or in any of your private 箱子chests. The only way to avoid the 伤害damage 是is with 死亡death 抗性resistance or by completing 托尔Tol's or 巴雷德主教Bishop Bareid's Path. Scroll of Recall to get 返回back to 弗里古尔德Friguld; this 是is your only way 返回back.

Tol's Path: Go South to the 大伊诺里Great Inori, and find the face in the sand, near the entrance to 伊拉祖尔墓Irazur Tomb. Approach the face, which will teleport you into a dungeon. When talking to 托尔Tol, 你you will face unavoidable 死亡death unless 你you passed the 智力Intellect 3 check at the 被遗忘的庙宇Forgotten Temple gravestone, and tell 托尔Tol about what happened. Threatening him or choosing any obviously hostile answers will result in your being smitten. Choosing the top answer--"I don't know"--in the first part of the conversation will also result in your death. Talking to Tol rewards a lot of xp so use xp bonus boosting items beforehand. Talking to Bishop Bareid afterwards will net you an additional 200 XP, because he doesn't believe your story but knows you got rid of the crown.

--托尔Tol awards 你you 10,000 经验xp and a 技能Skill Point.

Bishop Bareid's Path: In the 伊诺里北部Northern Inori Desert, 使用use the 法师公会Wizard's Guild 传送teleportation to get to the 大平原魔法塔Great Plains Enclave, then 头部head to 尼瓦兰Nivarian, enter 智慧大厅the Hall of Wisdom, and give the Crown to 巴雷德主教Bishop Bareid. Talking with him will reveal that he will die once you give him the crown. However, after he dies, 你you will still be able to 学习learn 信仰之火Flames of Faith and 战斗祈祷Battle Prayer from 神父哈拉德Father Harad.

--This path will give 你you 3,000 经验XP and the 独特unique 主教之戒Bishop Ring.

备注Notes

  • Attempting to 手部hand the Crown to 托尔Tol without passing the 智力Intellect 3 check at the 被遗忘的庙宇Forgotten Temple gravestone will lead to your unavoidable 死亡death that cannot be prevented even by the 生命之安卡Ankh of Life.
  • Speaking of that 智力Intellect 4 check, there are only 2 findable 物品items accessible before the endgame which 提高increase 智力Intellect: The 苍穹头冠Tiara of the Heavens (from 希达尔女士Lady Xidar), and the 不死之戒Ring of Unlife dropped occasionally by 巫妖Liches; there are also Belts 你you can 购买buy. If you're a Warrior or Rogue needing help on INT to clear those checks, you may want to pick one of those up and bring it along, because the alternative is blowing at least 8000 GP for a Belt you won't otherwise use (or re-rolling your traits entirely at one of the guildhouses).
The decision of which route you want to go with the crown is one of the harder ones in the game. 10,000 经验XP and a 技能Skill Point 是is extremely tempting, as 技能Skill 点数Points are 限定limited in a way that 特质Trait 点数points are not (Ancient Tolassian Tomes can be farmed if absolutely necessary). The 学识lore and 剧情story 背景background that 托尔Tol tells 你you 是is very interesting on your first 游戏game play-through, but 你you can always do that and then reload from a 保存save if 你you want to see what he says but not commit to that route for the 任务quest.
    • If 你you are a 牧师Cleric, the choice of the 主教之戒Bishop Ring 是is easy: 牧师Clerics are by far the least 技能skill-point-限定limited 职业class, and a +2 魅力PER 物品item 是is enormously helpful.
    • If 你you're not a 牧师Cleric, the decision largely rests on which 随从companion 你you will commit to for the mid- and late-游戏game: if it's 希尔盖Hirge, 你you might want the 戒指ring to let her 治疗Heal more, but otherwise the 经验XP and 技能Skill Point probably matter more to 你you long-term.
A Mage might reasonably still pick the ring for themselves, because +2 PER is like an extra +1 INT, and comes with other useful perks. Many would 拾取take the 技能Skill Point, though, because in the endgame at your most 易伤vulnerable (in the 洛萨桑方舟Ark of Lothasan), 你you will need that 戒指ring 槽位slot for 闪电Shock 抗性resist.
  • The findings 你you will see at the libraries located inside 纳约墓Nayau Tomb and 伊达亚墓Ydaya Tomb are unrelated to this 任务quest and will not update your 日志journal.
  • If 你you 手部hand the Crown to 托尔Tol, afterwards 你you can speak to 巴雷德主教Bishop Bareid for additional conversation lines and 200xp.
  • It 是is possible to survive the 5000 伤害damage 攻击attack from 托尔Tol using 闪避Evasion as a 盗贼rogue, but this will just cause 托尔Tol to speak to 你you again from the beginning, until 你you either 手部hand him the crown (if 你you passed the 智力Intellect 3 check at the gravestone) or 你you die.
Broken Crown of Tol will be hazardous to your 生命health from the moment 你you first 拾取take possession of it, and that hazard does not 耐力end until 你you complete the 任务quest. Do not take the crown unless you are ready to either complete the quest, or keep it and deal with the consequences of the crown's damage.
  • 死亡Death 抗性Resistance of 178 是is required to reduce the 伤害damage to zero. See the relevant 装备equipment, 技能skill and 特质trait sections to calculate how to build this very high 抗性resistance 价值value.
