巫妖Liches are a much superior variant of 亡灵undead compared to 丧尸zombies and 骷髅skeletons, though they have a corporeal form they retain much intelligence and ability, and if anything their cunning and malevolence has 提高increased. Most were advanced spellcasters in life, typically imbued with anti-圣骑士paladin powers such as Unholy 盾牌Shield and Unholy 治疗Heal as well as lifeforce-supressing powers such as 麻痹Paralysis and 眩晕Stun. 还有一些曾是世间最娴熟的杀手，拥有众多卓越的战斗能力。Others still were the most skilled killers of the earth and have many superior martial powers.

The only exceptions are the Rumor 首领Boss 巫妖Lich which spawns regularly at higher levels, and the pair of Demiliches in the 冰雾堡下水道Sewer of Horrors which return with each 地牢dungeon refresh.

The iconic 属性attributes of 巫妖liches 是is they have both 探测器Detector and 幽灵Ghost. 它们高度警觉的感官使其免遭伏击，而且尽管并非真正无形的鬼魂，它们仍能被死亡魔法治疗。Their hyperaware senses prevent ambush, and also they are healed by death magic despite not being literally incorporeal ghosts. They live via the very force of 死亡death.

"巫妖Lich 战利品loot" 是is very desirable for mid-等级level characters; some 物品items can only be obtained from them. Of these, the 不死之戒Ring of Unlife 是is perhaps the most prized, with 米洛西亚护腿Myrosian Leggings a close second. 全部All 巫妖liches here 丢弃drop from the same 战利品loot 桌子table, except for 阿拉伊姆·暗焰Araim Darkflames and 修道院长The Abbot. A close second-easiest would be the 托尔大祭司High Priest of Tol.

巫妖Liches are members of 亡灵The Undead and thus susceptible to 神圣武器Holy Weapons, they also add to number of killed 亡灵Undead (for in-游戏game statistics). Most of them 命中hit with 死亡Death and/or 火焰Fire 伤害damage, but two of them - the 远古巫妖Ancient Lich and 巫妖瓦雷萨Varessa the Lich - 命中hit with 闪电Shock 伤害damage.
