沉睡者神殿The Temple of the Sleepers 是is a 任务quest given to 你you by 魔像商人Golem Trader at 巨人之城遗迹City of the Ancients.

任务Quest Overview

任务Quest #: 97 - Completable

任务Quest Steps

  1. (Prerequisite) 你You need to have 已完成completed the 任务quest 有其父必有其子Like Father, Like Son.
  2. Talk to the 魔像商人Golem Trader in the 巨人之城遗迹City of the Ancients and 学习learn about the 安息神殿Temple of the Sleepers (需要requires 智力Intellect 1 and 500 金币Gold).
  3. Read the 书book in 图书馆the library of the 巨人之城遗迹City of the Ancients.
  4. Find the 尸体corpse with the missing 书book page in the 巨人之城遗迹City of the Ancients, thus gaining knowledge of the Prayer.
  5. (Optional) Examine the painting on the 墙壁wall and get a hint on the 位置location of the 安息神殿Temple of the Sleepers.
  6. 获得Gain access to the 安息神殿Temple of the Sleepers by interacting with the magical 门doors in the 寂静王国峡谷Gorge of the Silent Kings (需要requires a 紫色勋章Purple Medallion for each of the 3 门doors, plus knowledge of the Prayer).
  7. Activate 全部all 4 levers in the 安息神殿Temple of the Sleepers in rapid succession (before the 区域area resets), and cross the bridge in the middle section (point of 否no return).
  8. 过桥之后，穿过四个元素危害区域。After crossing the bridge, advance through the four elemental-hazard areas.

  10. Confront 阿泽兰Azeran and kill him.

Detailed 攻略Walkthrough

This 是is probably the second-hardest 任务quest in the 游戏game, behind 恐怖下水道The Sewer of Horrors. 与那个任务类似，它被设计为一项终局挑战。Similarly to that one, it is intended as an end-game challenge. It 是is entirely reasonable to complete 洛塔桑方舟The Ark of Lothasan before tackling it, particularly since some of the 武器weapons and 护甲armor 找到found there will help 你you out. The initial parts of the 任务quest (in the 巨人之城遗迹City of the Ancients and then in the early parts of the 神殿Temple) can be tackled around Lv 15 and Lv 18 respectively, and raiding its outer 区域areas on the earlier side can be very helpful (particularly to grab the 舞动之焰Dancing Flame). 但最好等你至少达到 Lv21 之后再对 Temple 发起最终挑战，更推荐 Lv23 以上。But it would be best to make a final attempt upon the Temple only once you're Lv21 at minimum, and Lv23+ is more recommended.

Exploring the 巨人之城遗迹City of the Ancients

The first part of the 任务quest 是is 找到found deep underneath the ground. As 你you spoke to 萨拉索斯Thalassos in the rear of the 废弃的闹鬼画廊Haunted Galleries during 有其父必有其子Like Father, Like Son, he told 你you that the 楼梯stairs 下一步next to him led to an 远古ancient 城市city. 你可能已经稍微探索过那里了，但在你回到地表完成那个任务之前，那里并没有太多值得关注的东西（而且那个区域难度要高得多，你可能还没做好准备）。You might have explored it a bit already, but until you went back up to the surface to complete that quest, there was not much of interest (plus it's a substantially harder area, so you may not have been prepared for it).   1. 下面有两类敌人：Golems 和 Undead。There are two types of enemies down there: Golems, and Undead. Plus two 吞噬者Devourers that can paralyze 你you, just for sport. So 你you'll need 死亡Death-抗性resistance gear, and it helps to be able to deal 毒素Toxic 伤害damage or 驱逐Banishing (for the earth-元素elemental Guardians), 寒冷Cold 伤害damage (for the iron 魔像golems), and/or 闪电Shock 伤害damage (to easily dispatch the Blood Wraiths).
  2. 下到城中，走出你所在的那间初始房屋，来到街道上。Descend to the City and exit the initial house you're in, onto the streets. 你You will find a dozen or so Guardians patrolling those streets; 亡灵the undead are mostly inside the buildings. 头部Head north until 你you see a big 铁魔像iron golem standing by a shop display; that's the 魔像商人Golem Trader.
  3. Talk to the 魔像商人Golem Trader, who if 你you pass an 智力INT 1 check and offer him 500 金币gold, will tell 你you more about the 城市city. He can give 你you two 任务quests: 难缠的商人A Hard Bargainer, and this one.
  4. Once 你you've learned what 你you can, it will be 清除clear 你you'll need to acquire one or more Purple Medallions in order to access the 神殿Temple. 如果你袭击了 Azeran，你就已经有一枚了，而且如果处理得恰到好处，这枚就足以满足任务需求。If you jumped on Azeran, you'll have one already, and if you play things exactly right that will be enough for quest purposes. 更有可能的是，你会想要至少再多一枚，部分原因是它们是很好用的佩戴物品。More likely, you will want at least one more, in part because they're very useful items to wear.
  5. Inside are some pretty strong 亡灵undead, including 城主Lord of the City and 城主夫人Lady of the City, so it would be advisable to have your 随从companion wait outside and draw them out slowly / individually. The southern rooms of the palace have treasure, but are heavily trapped (the southwest one has another 吞噬者Devourer, too).
  7. 宫殿北侧的房间是图书馆；起初那里会很安静。The northern room in the palace is the Library; it will initially be quiet.   9. Once 你you've got 2-3 Purple Medallions and the two 任务quests, 你you're pretty much done.

Journeying and Preparation

The 下一步next phase takes place en-route to the 神殿Temple and in parts of it, but does not commit 你you to finishing the 任务quest yet (nor 需要requires quite the same 等级level - most players can probably do these things by Lv 18-19). The main idea 是is to (1) 清除clear the path to the 神殿Temple, which has some 困难(+20%)hard but non-再生recurring fights, and (2) get the 物品items in the West and East parts of the 神殿temple. 这样一来，在你最终完成任务的进程中，你既能快速移动，也能事先把背包装得满满的支援物品——你会发现这很有用。This is so that in your final run for the quest, you can both move quickly, and also beforehand you can load up your inventory nearly full with support items - which you'll find helpful.

  1. The 安息神殿Temple of the Sleepers can be 找到found inside the 寂静王国峡谷Gorge of the Silent Kings. There are two access 点数points to the Gorge: from the East via 翠谷Emerald Valley (coming from 弗里古尔德Friguld or walking across the 伊诺里沙漠Inori Desert), or from the South via a Teleporter from 长者之森Elder Forest, if 你you are friends with the 瓦兰纳里Varannari and have talked to 欢笑之鹿Laughing Deer. The latter can be a very handy and quick way to get there, as 你you can also warp from 西北萨加尔森林Northwest Sagar Forest, avoiding longer walks (and many 蛇snakes).
  2. While there are 蛇snakes and Sabercats around, the 新的new 敌人enemy 你you'll have to confront are 雷克萨顿Rexadons, which are lizard-people who 命中hit fairly 困难(+20%)hard, run in packs, and 治疗heal from their Shamans (much like 米诺陶Minotaurs, 乌尔萨Ursans or Witches). They are weak to 死亡Death 伤害damage, so if 你you're having any trouble, bringing your best 死亡武器Death weapons can help 你you down them.
  3. 如果你从南边来，就沿着河流向东前进，然后过桥。If you come from the south, proceed eastwards along the river and then cross the bridge. 如果你从东边来，就向西前进。If you're coming from the east, proceed westwards. 无论走哪条路，你都会在河以北遇到一群 Rexadons，然后应该为一场更大的战斗做好准备。Either way you will come to a pack of Rexadons north of the river, and should then prepare yourself for a bigger battle.
  4. Just northwest of that first pack will be a 雷克萨顿Rexadon standing in the open, initially an NPCNPC - 铁鳞格鲁尔Grur Ironscale.   6. Northwest of that 是is the 战争魔像War Golem, who holds the 生命之石Lifestone that the 魔像商人Golem Trader covets. Make sure 你you 保存save before engaging him - he 命中hits very 困难(+20%)hard, 是is 免疫immune to 闪电Shock and 死亡Death, and strongly resists most 其他other elements. If 你you have 精金Adamantite 武器weapons by now, they will help, as will summons. 可能要多试几次，因为与这一区域的其他敌人相比，他出奇地难打。It might take a few tries, as he is surprisingly tough relative to the rest of the area.
  7. Proceed north from there, and 你you will find yourself on the northern ridge of the 区域area, where 你you'll start to see the blue gates that are the entrances to the 安息神殿Temple of the Sleepers. 沿途还会有两群 Rexadons。There will be two more packs of Rexadons along the way.

  1. 前往最东边（最远）的入口。Head to the Easternmost (farthest) entrance. Make sure 你you've got your 紫色勋章Purple Medallion, and also make sure 你you have brought gear that helps 你you 抵抗resist 火焰Fire and 毒素Toxic, and ideally some 死亡Death 抵抗resist as well.
  2. 用一枚 Medallion 打开入口，这枚 Medallion 会消失。Open the entrance with a Medallion, which will disappear. Proceed into the initial rooms, which have Clockwork Guardians that are basically suicide bombs - they have only 30 生命值HP, but explode with more 火焰fire 伤害damage than the Zealots. 清掉它们和那个房间里的陷阱，然后沿着东北侧找到一扇暗门。Clear them and the traps in that room, then find a secret door along the northeast side.
  3. In the 房间room past the secret 是is your first encounter with 古神Old Ones. There will be 5-6 Green ones (who deal 毒素Toxic 伤害damage and have the good ol' 木乃伊mummy 剧毒光环Toxic Aura too, but are weak to 火焰Fire), backed by a Purple one (who deals 死亡Death and 命中hits REAL 困难(+20%)hard, he's essentially a 首领boss, but 是is slightly weak to 闪电Shock). 注意房间西南部的拉杆开关——在最终完成任务时你需要扳动它。Take note of the lever switch in the southwest part of the room - you'll have to flip that on your final quest run.
  4. 你You have two choices here: beat the 古神Old Ones if 你you can, or 使用use your 随从companion and 召唤summon(s) to distract them, and run to the two 石棺sarcophagi in the 返回back and just grab the stuff (particularly 舞动之焰Dancing Flame) and then GTFO. 那只 Purple Old One 可能会追你，但如果你没有把握面对它，你还是可以带着战利品活着逃出地下城。The Purple Old One may chase you, but you can get out of the dungeon with your loot and your life, if you're not up to facing him.   5. Your 下一步next entrance should be the westernmost (top-left) one, not the central one. 头部Head 返回back outside, and if 你you're up for it (and have 火焰Fire 抵抗resist gear, and probably 死亡Death gear too), open that 门door. 否则就回一趟城镇，做好充分准备后再回来。Otherwise make a town run and come back prepared.
  6. Once 你you're in the western part of the 神殿Temple, 装备equip 火焰Fire 抵抗resist gear, and proceed due northward. 那里的侧房里有宝箱，但现在（或任何时候）都没有必要去清理它们。The side rooms there have treasure chests, but it's not necessary to clear them right now (or ever). 你You'll encounter a 雷克萨顿Rexadon pack with a 雷克萨顿酋长Rexadon Chief, who 是is tougher than 铁鳞格鲁尔Grur Ironscale and 命中hits with some 火焰Fire 伤害damage. (another Chief 是is in a side 房间room, if 你you fancy him).
  7. As 你you move northward 你you'll encounter Red 古神Old Ones. Try to 拾取take them on one at a time, and 命中hit them with 寒冷Cold 伤害damage. There will eventually be a Purple one, who 命中hits as 困难(+20%)hard as a late-游戏game 首领boss, but whose 死亡Death 伤害damage can be resisted - and if 你you've got good late-游戏game 武器weapons, they probably deal 闪电Shock 伤害damage, which he 是is weak to. 这一次没法绕开，你必须穿过它和至少另一只敌人，所以确保你做好了准备。There's no running around this one, you need to get through him and at least one other, so make sure you're up for that.

Prep accordingly and 拾取take them out; 你you'll find the 复仇者Vindicator, a 典籍Tome, and yet-another 紫色勋章Purple Medallion. 如果你还不足以击杀它们，可以像在东侧大厅那样引开它们、拿走战利品然后跑路。If you're not yet up for killing them, you can distract them, grab the loot, and run, just like in the eastern halls.

相反，先回城镇，存放或出售你的物品，处理其他事务，直到你准备好全力挑战 Temple。Instead, head to town, store or sell your stuff, go about other business until you're ready to take on the Temple in full. Maybe 拾取take that 生命之石Lifestone down to the 魔像商人Golem Trader, to complete 难缠的商人A Hard Bargainer and get his prized possession.

Prep for Final Run

The main reason we went in and cleared the path / looted two parts of the 神殿Temple first, 是is because 你you will likely need nearly 全部all the spots in your 物品栏inventory (plus 次元袋Bag of Holding!) in order to 拾取take on the 神殿Temple with the aim to complete the 任务quest. 你需要为独特战利品预留的格子越少，就能携带更多元素装备，从而让任务得以完成。And the fewer unique loot items you need to hold room for, the more elemental gear you can bring to make the quest achievable.

你对 Temple 的最终挑战将比之前的部分困难得多——你可能需要达到 Lv 21-23 左右。Your final attempt at the Temple will be way harder than the previous bits - you will probably want to be Lv 21-23 or so. Once 你you feel ready for the 任务quest attempt, 你you will first want to gear up with:

Just know this:

  • If 你you see a Purple 古老者Old One, 装备equip 死亡Death-抵抗resist gear / 药水potions, and deal 闪电Shock 伤害damage (or 精神Spirit / physical)
  • The 古神Old Ones are 亡灵Undead, so 易伤vulnerable to 神圣Holy; the 元素Elementals are 外来者Outsiders, so 易伤vulnerable to 驱逐Banishing

Once geared up, 头部head 返回back to the Gorge, and 战斗fight your way to 清除clear the full 区域area in front of the 神殿temple entrances. 前往最远的（东侧）入口大门。Head to the farthest (eastern) entrance door. 保存Save. Let's do this!

Levers and the Pit

One quirk of this 任务quest 是is that to proceed to the deeper part of the 神殿Temple, 你you have to flip several 拉杆lever switches quickly. 你正处于“倒计时”状态，这是你在本游戏中通常不会遇到的。You're "on the clock", in a way that you usually aren't in this game. 需要快速行动的原因是：你会在不同区域扳动开关时进出神庙；而在游戏内 12 小时之后，任何区域如果距首次加载超过 12 小时再进入，都会重置（这会让开关复原）。The reason for speed is, you'll be going in and out of the Temple as you flip switches in different areas, and after 12 in-game hours, any area resets if it is entered more than 12 hours since it was first loaded (which would un-flip the switches). 所以你需要先扳动东侧（右侧）和西侧（左侧）入口的拉杆，然后赶回来进入中央入口。So you will need to hit the levers in the east (right) and west (left) entrances first, and then make it back to go into the center entrance. 如果你在 12 个游戏小时内完成这些，就万事大吉了——从那一刻起，你想要多少时间都行。If you do that inside of 12 game hours, you're golden - you get as much time as you need from that point on. So:

  1. The Final Gauntlet

你You're in the Deep 神殿Temple now, and it's about to heat up.

  2. Those fumes luckily do not have any 敌人enemies within them, which 是is good because they 命中hit pretty 困难(+20%)hard if 你you're <100 on 死亡Death 抗性Resist. Get used to popping 治疗healing 药水potions as 你you walk through.
  3. As 你you 退出exit the 死亡Death Fumes, it's straight into 剧毒烟雾Toxic Fumes. 更换你的装备来抵抗它。Flip your gear around to resist that. 会有一些抵抗一切的 Acid Elementals，所以尽可能用物理伤害打它们，它们并不算难缠。There will be some Acid Elementals who resist everything, so hit them with physical damage as best you can, they're not that tough.
  4. 在 Toxic 区域，房间南侧有一扇秘密门。In the Toxic zone, there is a secret door on the south side of the room. Inside are some 治疗healing 药水potions and 3x of a semi-独特unique 物品item, the 万灵药Panacea. 留着它们，打 Boss 时你会用到。Save those, you'll need them for the boss. 这里也是接下来相当长一段时间内唯一的安全区，所以如果需要治疗，就抓紧。This is also the only safe zone for quite some time, so if you need to heal up, do so. 只需注意，Acid Elementals 会在 90 秒后重生。Just be aware that the Acid Elementals will respawn after 90 seconds.
  5. 穿过 Toxic 房间进入 Fire 房间，在更换——呃——“主题”时更换装备。Head through the Toxic rooms into the Fire rooms, changing gear as you change, uh, "themes". There aren't any 敌人enemies in the 火焰Fire zone, conveniently, so just 书book it on through, re-upping your 迅捷药水Potion of Speed if need be, and 治疗healing as 你you go (easy to forget).
  6. 这扇门会直接把你带进有 Blizzards 的 Cold 区域。The door will put you straight into a Cold zone, with Blizzards. 切换装备（你不需要像其他区域那样多的 Cold 抗性装备）——你可能已经有一些 Fire 武器，就是对付 Green Old Ones 时用的，这里正需要它们。Switch gear around (you won't need as much Cold gear as you needed for the others) - you probably have some Fire weapons, just from dealing with the Green Old Ones, so those are what's needed here. 干掉 Ice Elementals，尽可能躲避 Blizzards，然后绕到门前。Nail the Ice Elementals, dodge the Blizzards as best you can, and work around to the door. 否No more 冰霜ice!

If need be, the sequence 是is: "F R F < R". Get to the 耐力end.
  10. Congrats, 你you're on the 其他other side, and have a breather to 治疗heal up. 装备Equip your 死亡Death gear, because behind the 门door are two Purple 古神Old Ones.
  11. 杀死 Purple 后，你会看到一张桌子，上面放着一本日志本。After killing the Purples, you'll see a table with a log book on it. Before leaving, make sure to check the (easy-to-miss) 箱子chest sitting just 下一步next to the 石棺sarcophagus - it has the real prizes from this 任务quest, especially 战斗护喉Battle Gorget, and if 你you forget them, getting 返回back to this spot once 你you 离开leave would be quite painful. 但一旦你拿到战利品，就意气风发地出发离开吧。But once you've got your loot, head on out, triumphant. 呼吸一下自由的空气。Breathe the air of freedom. 保存Save your 游戏game. 只是提醒你，Gorge 的敌人自你上次离开后肯定已经重置了。Just be advised that the Gorge's enemies have certainly reset since you last left them.
